Gambling and DV against women
The relationship between gambling and domestic violence against women.
 
This important national study is examining the relationship between gambling and domestic violence (DV) against women. This includes physical, sexual, verbal, emotional or financial abuse.
We are seeking confidential telephone or online interviews with people who have had any of the experiences below. You can register online now or ​email, phone or text us to let us know you are interested. Interviews will be held from now until early 2019. At the end of the interview, we will offer you a $40 shopping voucher for your time and effort.
1) Women who have experienced physical, sexual emotional, verbal or financial abuse (DV) from a current or former male partner…
  • Linked to their own gambling, OR
  • Linked to the partner’s gambling, OR
  • Who use gambling or gambling venues to cope with or escape from past or current DV
   AND
  •  Have engaged with a DV, gambling or allied support service e.g. counsellor, telephone helpline, GA, online support, etc
